The day the Earth was sent on a path of destruction…the likes of Krypton

Later today, the President of the United States will visit the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) to sign an Executive Order that will continue to make a shame out of the agency that was created to protect human health and the environment.

Continuing his idiotic policy of rolling back regulations and guidelines enacted by the Obama administration to preserve the Earth’s environment for future generations, the President will sign an Executive Order to rescind the Clean Power Plan — which aimed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from power plants.  The President is doing this as part of his effort to “create jobs.”

Of course, the administration hasn’t shown any proof to their claims that the orders they are rescinding are “job-killers.” Because as we all know, if the President says something we’re just supposed to take his word for it because — he would never lie. Still, even if the the Clean Power Plan was responsible for eliminating certain jobs, doesn’t it stand to reason that committing to finding alternative methods would create new jobs?

When the President named Scott Pruitt to the run the EPA, a man who has no regard for the agency whatsoever, he all but told the world that he didn’t care about preserving the Earth for future generations. This of course after running a campaign based on the theory that climate change was a hoax by the Chinese.

And by the way, just because I’m liking the destruction of the Earth to the fictional planet of Krypton, one shouldn’t infer that I find any of this the least bit funny. The parallel is simply undeniable. Despite direct evidence to what is happening to our planet and the best minds telling us what will happen if we don’t make changes, “our leaders” choose to ignore it all.

BOOM.
